The Iowa State Bar Association Rolls Up Its Sleeves To Improve Access To Justice Through Pro Bono Legal Service

The fifth annual Pro Bono Celebration is scheduled for the month of October.

Our annual Pro Bono Celebration is scheduled for the month of October. The celebration is a coordinated national effort to showcase the great difference that pro bono lawyers make to the nation, its system of justice, its communities and, most of all, to the clients they serve.

Although national in breadth, this celebration provides an opportunity for The Iowa State Bar Association to commemorate the contributions of Iowa's lawyers. The ISBA Access to Justice Committee also reminds us that the month is also dedicated to the quest for more pro bono volunteers to meet the ever-growing legal needs of this state’s most vulnerable citizens.
